Well, you know how it is. You write up a report about the exciting new wines in one of Spain's most dynamic denominations of origin but oops, you include a smattering of wines not in the DO and they're none too happy about that.
A very choice Covid-19 charity pack from DO Cariñena
This box of three wines was put together by one of the top wineries in this interior DO of Spain. Very excellent examples of Garnacha as well as Cariñena here and while definitely not cheap, absolutely all proceeds from the sales are being donated to located charities working to fight the pandemic.
The DO Montsant 2020 Report
Working to get bottle samples during quarantine was no fun, but it has finally arrived! Unsurprisingly, no surprises here as DO Montsant continues to see its star shine brightly. DO Cava massively drops harvest yields
Seems like we can't go two months without some big news coming out of the sparkling wine region of DO Cava. All thing considered for these times, this is actually a very good move as they've stipulated a 17% drop in harvest yields in order to relieve what is believed to be a massive grape glut heading this way.
