There's an old proverb that one person's meat is another's poison. When it comes to wine however... we still hold up a smudged glass, sputtering between stained teeth, "Yes, this, this wine is the BEST!"

This is why I've aimed to make my annual Best Wines of Catalunya more a list of "meaningful suggestions" as opposed to something carved on a stone tablet and read from a mountain top. I do however hope you can find some of these 11 wines where you live though as they're mighty tasty!

To close out this year, I sincerely hope you've survived as best as any of us have been able to and let's hope next year truly holds a light at the end of the tunnel.
