Greetings,
This is one of my favorite times of the year. Is it because summer has truly arrived leaving me to knock off and head to the beach, you might wonder? No! It's because the annual DOQ Priorat report has finally been released.
This is by far the most labor intensive of all reports that I compile during the year. Not only is it due to the 200+ wines tasted but also because Priorat wines require being tasted in more time-intensive batches and there are also the fine intricacies of the region that continue to increase with each passing vintage. This hasn't been an easy year as the region has seen both tragedy but at the same time, a celebration of new classifications.
On the topic of renewal, I'd also recommend having a look at how you're receiving your Hudin.com notifications of new articles. There are several ways to get them and I'd love you to be using the one that suits you best!
Hope your July has started well and your summer is shaping into place!
