A wine auction to benefit Ukraine
Wines for Ukraine
When Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24th, like millions of other people around the world, I was stunned.
This is why for the last few days I’ve been talking with several top wineries in my home of Priorat and Catalunya, Spain to help me in fundraising for Ukraine. They have opened their archives and given amazing wines from their private collections to now put on auction with 100% of the proceeds benefiting some humanitarian organizations that are doing great work in Ukraine (Come Back Alive, Ukrainian Red Cross, & World Central Kitchen).
You can now bid at the online auction here:
www.airauctioneer.com/wines-for-ukraine
The bidding is now open and will run until next Friday, April 1st at Midnight CET. Wines can be shipped anywhere in the EU, UK, US, Switzerland, Norward, and Hong Kong thanks to an agreement with CargoWine.
You’ll see that there are some really stupendous collectible wines here ranging from one of Priorat's top 'grand cru' wines, Álavaro Palacios l'Ermita 2013 to the oldest bottled wines in existence in this region, the iconic Scala Dei's la Cartoixa 1974 to incredibly fine sparkling wines like Recaredo's Reserva Particular 2004 & Gramona's Enoteca 2006.
There's simple too much to list here as I've worked with a vast variety of producers to have a little bit over everything, but you won’t be disappointed! Also, there should be some more lots added in the coming days so do check back. And if, like me, you’re dismayed at the suffering we’ve all been witnessing, please open your wallets!

And if you can't bid right now, please get the word out and share this auction in any way you can among your network to help out.
Many thanks to everyone!
